Truck 31 serves the Silver Spring Community Fire Company and the residents of Silver Spring Township as the first aerial device housed within the Township. Truck 31 is a quint design which means that it has fire pump and water in addition to it's aerial device. Trucks serve as the primary special service on fire incidents by providing search and rescue, laddering, ventilation, salvage and elevated master stream capabilities. The multi-function quint design will also allow for normal fire fighting functions if access, manpower, or situation dictate.
